My name is Kathya Kalinine and I am in business to help YOUR business succeed! I am the owner
of Emerald Virtual Solutions with more than 18 years of highly skilled talents and results-oriented
history. I am happy to provide a full spectrum of executive administrative services that will
catapult your business to the next level.

After listening to some close friends who are small business owners express frustration with not
being able to handle basic administrative functions themselves, I decided to take a long-time
dream to reality by launching my own business. I have learned that they specialize in their
trade-whether it be chiropractic care, duct cleaning or vitamin/supplement sales-and I specialize in
mine-administrative support. These friends have reached out to me over the years to have me
assist them with my skills in administrative tasks, from drafting letters, mail merges, complex
forms, spreadsheets, flyers and brochures. They find themselves boggled with not only trying to
get their day-to-day operations done on time, but have thanked me for stepping in and providing
expert experience and skills.

After being in the corporate world working for industries such as biotechnology, beverage, banking,
executive suites, television and e-commerce, I have developed a multitude of skills that have
allowed me to lend my talents and develop new ones to aid in the many facets of my executive
administrative career. Over the course of these past 18 years, I've developed a strong passion for
helping streamline businesses and make them work more efficiently. I am a big fan and proponent
of 'process improvement.' I like helping create new and innovative ideas and ways to help you
build your business and operate more smoothly. This passion of mine will, in turn, assist and make

I'm a mother of a beautiful 5 year-old son and the wife of a wonderful husband who is my
'cheerleader' while I step into a new arena of becoming a small business owner. We love spending
time together as a family. We take ferry boat rides across Puget Sound and love to vacation at the
beach and in Lake Chelan. Being able to take care of my son after schoolas he takes his first
adventures to attend Kindergarten this fall will be especially rewarding to me as a mom. During
what little free time I have, I enjoy painting, creating glass and crystal beaded jewelry, gardening
and growing my own vegetables and spending time with family and close friends.
